Here are the 2024 classes that we are offering at this time below
Log Home Building:
Log home building is designed to introduce people that want to become log home builders to the tools and terminology of the industry. It will also give them hands-on experience of building the first log structure. This program is a two week program in a classroom and up to one year in the field building homes. The cost of the program will be $2000.00 not including expenses (hotel, travel, food etc.) This expense is for the first two weeks and then you will go to the field for up to one year and you will get paid from the builder while you’re doing your internship with them. After your internship you will return to the school for your final exam.
Log Home Restoration and Maintenance:
Log Home Restoration and maintenance will introduce people that want to learn how to finish, repair and maintain log homes to the tools and terminology of the industry. It will also give them hands-on experience of repairing and finishing the first log structure. The cost of the program will be $2000.00 not including expenses (hotel, travel, food etc.) This expense is for the first two weeks and then you will go to the field for up to one year and you will get paid from the builder while you’re doing your internship with them. After your internship you will return to the school for your final exam.
The log Home Owner DIY:
This class will take you through the steps from design to actually building and staining a log structure. This is a three-day class and is designed around the DIY person. The cost of this class is $500.00 per person not including expenses (hotel, travel, food etc.)
Log Home Buyer Class:
This is a one-day class and will go over the pros and cons of buying, owning, and maintaining a log home. The cost of this class is $100.00 per person. You will go away with thousands of dollars of savings through what you will learn in just one day with us at our log home school!
